Innovative modular timber construction for the hotel industry

In spring 2024, the NIU Hotel in Passau successful with modern Hybrid modular design realised. The manufacturing team at [HolzWerk³] played an essential role in the implementation of this major construction project: for the hotel, 150 fully equipped wooden modules with a total area of 4,150m² manufactured.

The modules were already fully furnished on delivery and the building technology had been prepared by the experienced production team. Thanks to the plug & play principle the units could be placed directly on the concrete foundation and connected to the power, ventilation and water supply in the final work step.
