The TATEKU Group GmbH, headquartered in Austria, is a leading investment company focussing on the entire value chain of Forestry and timber industry. Founded in December 2024, the company consistently focuses on Sustainable innovations, long-term value creation and responsible corporate governance (ESG).
The name "Tateku"inspired by the Japanese and meaning "to build something from the ground up", reflects the Group's central mission statement: Developing innovative and economically viable solutionswhich Economy, ecology and social responsibility harmonise.
With TATEKU Innovationan internal R&D incubator, the Group promotes technological developments that optimise the entire value chain. The focus here is on increasing efficiency and sustainability in order to optimise the European forestry and timber industry to shape the future. The company focuses on research and development in five key areas:

- From seedling to tree: Site-adapted afforestation to increase the biodiversity of the forest, AI-supported forest management and utilisation of the entire tree as a valuable natural resource
- From tree to timber construction product: Timber processing for timber frame, special and modular construction, especially for multi-storey residential buildings, hotels and tiny living.
- From waste to raw material: Commercial utilisation of agricultural, forestry and timber industry residues by converting them into green carbon and bioliquids through pyrolysis.
